On 24 June 2022, the Romanian Group of ALAI, with support from ALAI Canada, ALAI Cyprus, ALAI Greece, ALAI Italy, the French Association for the International Protection of Copyright (AFPIDA), ALAI Spain, organized the conference (the first of our Group) on the theme: ‘The challenges of copyright 160 years after their first regulation in Romania and 150 years of moral rights in the world’.
During this conference (which was held in a hybrid system), a large number of foreign and Romanian participants presented the materials, in English or French, that we are publishing in this volume.
We thank all those who helped us organize the conference, those who were part of the Scientific Committee of the conference, those who participated in the event with materials (all substantial and valuable) and those who listened to the speakers.
We thank Professor Daniel-Mihail Șandru and Academician Nicolae Noica, General Director of the Romanian Academy Library, for their important help in organizing our event, because they made it possible to organize our conference in admirable conditions in the ‘Ion Heliade Rădulescu’ Amphitheater of the prestigious library, as well as to Hamangiu Publishing House.
